A truly luxurious finished product, the result of a truly thoughtful and bespoke design process. A remarkable transformation of a private residence within the prestigious Four Seasons location.
Originally a straightforward renovation request, the project quickly expanded after the initial consultation, evolving into a comprehensive redesign. Notably, the project required meticulous planning and unique logistical considerations due to the constraints of working within a high-end, fully-occupied condo building.
The client initially expressed interest in minor renovations; however, upon further discussion, the project scope expanded to a full main-floor renovation, including custom marble installation, a wine wall, and a reimagined master en-suite. The goal was to enhance the aesthetic and functionality of the residence while preserving its upscale and cohesive design.
Working in the Four Seasons presented specific challenges, including strict regulations on work hours, noise limitations, and restricted elevator access. The team also faced technical difficulties in material handling and precision cutting, especially with marble, to maintain the building’s stringent standards and avoid disruption to other residents.
The project began with an analysis of the space’s existing layout and structural limits, followed by a custom design package developed by Koz Design, led by a highly regarded designer who was also a family friend. Koz Design’s comprehensive plan emphasized seamless integration of materials and colors to create a refined, cohesive look across the unit. Premium marble slabs were chosen for flooring, baseboards, and custom inlays. The marble’s delicate patterns required extensive precision and customization, achieved through on-site fabrication.
